Thanksgiving is approaching, and students are heading home for break. This is a time to reflect on what you’re thankful for and to relax, cook and spend time with family. Online classes and finals can cause a great deal of stress, so here is a playlist to wind down and enjoy the upcoming holiday season or listen on your way back home.

“Cooking Up Something Good” by Mac DeMarco 

Cooking up some good Thanksgiving food and need a peaceful song to help you remain calm? Listen to this serene indie track by DeMarco. Mentioning his family in the lyrics makes this the perfect song to remind you why spending time with family is important during the holidays. 

“Coming Home” by Leon Bridges

Excited about coming home? Listen to this beautifully written song to feel peace about coming home after a heavy workload this semester. Whether your journey home is long or short, plug your phone in on the aux cord and listen to this song.
