Songs to practice your social distancing to

Songs+to+practice+your+social+distancing+to

Hopefully, everyone has been practicing their social distancing over the past week or so. While it may be a nice break for some of us, life during this time is bound to get a bit dull. And it’s understandable that being at home for long periods may not be the best situation for many people.

This is undoubtedly a stressful time, so we’ve created a playlist of some feel-good songs to boost your spirits. Pop in some headphones and go wash those hands to escape all the craziness.

“Don’t Worry Baby” by The Beach Boys

There is nothing that makes you think of sunshine and warm weather quite like The Beach Boys. Though it may seem like the world is ending, listen to The Beach Boys and don’t worry baby! Take a few deep breaths and unwind to some 1960s soft beach rock.

“Should I Stay or Should I Go” by The Clash

Listen to this song every time you’re considering going to a social place with 10 or more people. You simply should stay and certainly not go. But now you have this classic rock song to keep your spirits high, though you may not be at that restaurant you wanted to eat at.

“Hold on Tight” by Electric Light Orchestra

If you haven’t given Electric Light Orchestra a good listen before, now is your time to listen to their jammin’ songs from the 70s. This song in particular ought to remind you that in time, things will get better. Hold on tight, take care of yourself and those around you and wash your hands.

“Mr. Blue Sky” by Electric Light Orchestra

If you’re feeling like you need a break from attending “Zoom University” and laying in your bed, then taking a walk, going for a run or just sitting outside in nice weather will always help to clear your head. This song is a mood-boosting classic that will remind you to take a break, relax a bit and enjoy the springtime blue skies.

“I Feel Fine” by The Beatles

Although you may be feeling fine, you still are at risk for catching or carrying COVID-19. So keep your social distance, put in your headphones and jam out to The Beatles to keep yourself and others safe and healthy.

Check out the full playlist on Spotify.
