Where do you recommend studying in the library?

In my opinion, you can’t go wrong with any space in the library, but it depends on what you are looking for in a study space. The library is ultimately split into five sections: first, second and third floor of Post Learning Commons (PLC) (the “new side”), and the first and second floor of Drexel Library (the “old side”).
I’ve found the quiet areas on the first and second floor of Drexel Library provide the most reliable working environment. It’s nice to be near the windows during the day, as they bring natural light to the area. If you really need a distraction-free space, try the cubbies and round tables tucked away within the bookshelf sections of both floors. They have really helped me during stressful times in the semester.
When it comes to PLC, I enjoy working on the second and third floors because they let in a lot of sunlight in the late morning and early afternoon. It tends to be quiet in these areas on weekends but it is still a social area, and therefore noisier during the week. Sometimes pin-drop silence isn’t what you need, and in that case, the new side is the place to go.
One of the best features of PLC is the double monitors that are available on the first and second floors. They are so easy to use and can really transform a work session when you have double the screen space. I’ve found them to be a huge time saver with certain assignments when I need to be viewing several resources simultaneously, so I would definitely recommend trying those out if you haven’t already.
A great option you can find on either side is one of the many study rooms. The walls are not perfectly soundproof, but the rooms are isolated which can help you focus. These are also ideal for tackling group work, but be sure to reserve a room on the Nest to ensure you have a space.
No matter the day, time or what you are looking for in a study area, I am certain you can find a space to meet your needs and help you ace your next exam.
