Valentine’s Day is here, and if you’re reading this, then you probably don’t have a lot going on. To make up for it, why not keep an eye out for some of the most eligible bachelors and bachelorettes on the more morally ambiguous side of the world of gaming?

Honorable Mention: Big Daddy (“BioShock”): Armed with the strength and firepower to defend the genetically-modified and defenseless Little Sisters from the underwater “paradise” of Rapture, these juggernauts certainly score some points!

5.) Frank Horrigan (“Fallout 2”): As the power-armor-clad fist of the Enclave, Frank Horrigan is one of the most loyal and patriotic bachelors the wasteland has to offer. As a top member of the Secret Service, he is relentlessly loyal, making him an incredibly desirable choice. If you love a man in uniform, Horrigan is the man (or mutant) for you!

4.) Rouge The Bat (“Sonic the Hedgehog”): She’s more of an anti-hero than a villain, but her status as a jewel thief has caused more than enough grief. Just try not to let her steal your heart. Who said Cupid’s wings were feathery?

3.) Ganondorf (“The Legend of Zelda”): Since a male Gerudo is only born once a century in Hyrule, he makes the wait all the more worth it. Though he may be a king of darkness, he is sure to bring a little light into your life. With a stunning physique and a domineering attitude, Ganondorf can make you wonder if you’re on the right side after all.

2.) Cynthia (“Pokémon”): Possibly the best trainer featured in the series, Cynthia’s renown goes far beyond her reputation as a Pokémon champion. With a cool head, an encouraging personality, a deep connection to her team and a competitive edge, she could make anyone shout, “I choose you!” Her love of ice cream also makes for a perfectly simple date idea.

1.) Bowser (“Super Mario Bros.”): In terms of being an icon, there is no competition. He’s powerful, a skilled athlete in every sport — even earning him a spot in the Olympics — and being a wonderful father only highlights what a great partner he’d be. Though he is always chasing after Peach, it couldn’t hurt to try to help Bowser break out of his shell and show him there are other princesses and princes to capture! The Mushroom Kingdom will surely thank you.
