The College Democrats, however, have more work to do than their counterparts because they are working on events to promote both Democratic candidates, Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton, while the College Republicans need only focus on the sole remaining candidate, John McCain.
The College Democrats have planned several events to raise awareness about both candidates. Tim Castanza,'10 said that the College Democrats hosted a book signing on April 7 with Pennsylvania Congressman Pat Murphy at the Saint Joseph's University book store. At the book signing, Murphy promoted his new autobiography, "Taking the Hill: From Philly to Baghdad to the United States Congress."
Saint Joseph's University Students for Barack Obama, a campus organization, worked with the College Democrats in order to plan the speech by Massachusetts Senator Ted Kennedy that was supposed to be held on April 4. Unfortunately Kennedy cancelled, but he was planning on speaking to students about his endorsement of Obama.
Michael Noone, '09, has recently joined the College Democrats after becoming involved with the Clinton Campaign. Noone is currently working with the organization to get someone from the Clinton Campaign to appear at Saint Joseph's. They have extended an invitation and an appearance is currently in the works. Representatives from the College Democrats were unsure of who would actually be coming, but they hope to to get a member of the Clinton family to visit.
The College Republicans have remained active on campus as well. According to Kristin Luciani, '10, they have been posting flyers around campus reminding students about the primary elections and urging them to register to vote.
The College Republicans also showed a film in the Forum Theater on April 8 about the Republican Party's view that Clinton will be detrimental to society, and how the Republican Party is the more capable party to lead the country for the next four years, despite the shortcomings of the current administration.
The College Democrats and the College Republicans are joining together to bring Project Vote Smart to Saint Joseph's. The Project Vote Smart Bus will be here on Friday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Sourin parking lot to educate students about all of the candidates. Project Vote Smart is a non-partisan group that educates potential voters with non-biased facts about each candidate.

YOU MIGHT BE AN IDIOT:-)
If you think Barack Obama with little or no experience would be better than Hillary Clinton with 35 years experience.
You Might Be An Idiot!
