HOT:

The Phillies: Monday marked the Phils' home opener, and that means baseball season is in full swing. Students are getting excited about those infamous "College Nights" while others are just excited about the dollar dogs. Even people who aren't baseball fans normally have a sense of pride and feeling of excitement when they go to their first game of the season. When you think about it though, what's not to love? Tailgating brings together people from all walks of life and intense bonding can happen while waiting in the line for the port-o-potty. So get out those Utley jerseys and head over to Citizens Bank Park to catch all the action.

Flip-Flops: It's already starting to happen: the beginning of flip-flop season. Although the temperatures are still a little bit chilly, students on campus are proud to parade their Rainbows, Reefs, and Havaianas around campus, giving everyone else a little taste of toe cleavage. Despite the fact that these summer sandals are worn year round by a handful of true blue fans, they've only recently been out in full force, kicking Uggs and other winter shoes to the side to usher in a brand new season.

NOT:

Mariah Carey's Clothes: I'm sure many of you saw Mariah prancing around "The Hills" season opener in her barely there mini dress and skyscraper heels and although I've been wondering for years, I've finally decided that she really needs to invest in a pair of pants. I'm not saying that she doesn't have a nice body, but really, let's leave a little something to the imagination. In a recent photo taken, she was snapped walking her dog in a similar outfit. Get over yourself and cover up!

Jamie Lynn "Legalizing It": Despite the fact that she recently got her GED, Jamie Lynn isn't exactly the best role model. She's been spotted wearing an engagement ring, a gift from her boyfriend and "baby daddy" Casey Aldridge. She still isn't a pillar of perfection, and to "trashify" herself even more, she was photographed wearing a T-shirt that read "The Rumors Are True." My question is, how exactly did her 18-year-old boyfriend (who at this point might not even have a job) afford this bauble? I'm wondering if Jamie Lynn's paycheck from her mother's confession in OK! Magazine helped foot the bill….
