On Campus

Alcohol Incident, Sourin Hall 2/22/08. Public Safety confiscated alcohol from a student attempting to enter the building.

Vandalism, St. Mary's Hall, 2/22/08. An unknown person broke a window with an orange.

Drug Abuse Violation, Sourin Hall, 2/2/08. Residence Life confiscated a Hookah pipe from a room.

Larceny/Theft, McShain Hall, 2/23/08. A student reported that his iPhone had been stolen from his room.

Larceny/Theft, Mandeville Parking Lot, 2/25/08. A reserved parking sign was stolen from its post.

Larceny/Theft, Parking Lot by Fieldhouse, 2/25/08. A handicap parking sign was stolen from its post.

Larceny/Theft, Science Center, 2/25/08. A student reported that her SJU ID card had been stolen from her book-bag outside room #303 and used to make purchases.

Larceny/Theft, Campion Cafeteria, 2/26/08, A student attempted to steal food from the cafeteria in Campion.

Alcohol Incident, LaFarge Hall, 2/27/08, Public Safety confiscated alcohol from a student attempting to enter the building.

Larceny/Theft, Campion Cafeteria, 2/28/08, A student attempted to steal a beverage from the cafeteria in Campion

Off Campus

Alcohol Incident, 2420-24 Golf Road, 2/28/08. Public Safety received report of an alcohol party at 2420-24 Golf Rd. Philadelphia Police responded and observed one keg of beer, other alcohol, and numerous underage students. The resident of the apartment was identified.

Motor Vehicle Theft, 6301 Drexel Road, 2/26/08, A student reported his vehicle had been stolen from its location in front of 6301 Drexel Rd. Philadelphia.

Robbery, Lincoln Green, 2/29/08, A student reports 2 males forced their way into his apartment and robbed him point of knife of his laptop computer and a watch. The males then fled on foot. Philadelphia Police are investigating.

My understanding is that a hookah, in and of itself is not considered to be drug paraphernalia, unless it is in fact being used with drugs at the time. (Continued…)
