HOT:
"The Girls Next Door": This campy show on E! is in its third season and I can't help but follow it every week.
It might seem a little odd and even ridiculous that I'm a fan of a show that gives an insider's look at the Playboy Mansion, but honestly, it's more of a girl show than anything else.
Each girl represents something that I can relate to: Holly and her nurturing Susie Homemaker persona, Bridget and her bubbly personality, and Kendra's ability to throw caution to the wind.
The girls can always be counted on to find themselves in a silly situation, and every few episodes, I can check out a lavish party being thrown at the Mansion.
Although it's not the most intellectually stimulating show, I can always count on it to provide some laughs and a much needed break from homework (which I have a ton of, but more on that later).
The Melting Pot: This gem of a fondue restaurant has earned the #1 spot on my list.
From the cool and laid back atmosphere to the quality of the food, it's definitely a restuarant worth the somewhat expensive price tag.
If you want to try a little bit of everything and are willing to spend a little more, order the Big Night Out, which offers an appetizer, salad, entrée, and dessert (you choose the cheeses, meats, etc., and you get a larger variety of items) and share it with a friend.
I know that I'm gushing right now, but the last thing I have to comment on is the wait staff.
Everyone is cordial, extremely helpful, and always on top of things (especially at the Center City location). So do you fondue?
NOT:
Post Spring Break Workload: After I got off the plane from an amazing week in Miami, I looked in my planner to see what I had on the agenda for the week.
I noticed one presentation, one midterm, and one paper. Um…what is going on here?
Not only was I swamped with various assignments and tests the week before vacation, but now I have the pleasure of jumping right back into this insanity.
